Business Advisory Council

OCU is fortunate to have distinguished business people who are willing to participate on a Business Advisory Council to further the careers of students and the mission of Ohio Christian University.

 

The goals of the Ohio Christian University Business Advisory Council individually and collectively is to advise the university on the appropriate strategic direction of the Business Management Department including, but not limited to, the following:

 

  • Review and evaluate the applicability and appropriateness of the Business Department’s mission, objectives, and goals.


  • Review and evaluate the currency of the Business Department’s academic programs, course offerings, initiatives, and programs.

 

  • Identify educational needs and make suggestions on how to incorporate these needs into the curriculum.


  • Promote awareness of the Business Management Department and the University as a whole.

 

  • Provide contacts, mentoring, and advice to students related to career development, job-seeking activities, and current issues in business.

 

  • Engage in interaction with the Business students and faculty to increase their awareness of the changing business environment nationally and globally.

 

  • Support the Ohio Christian University Business Management Program and the University as a whole to the public, business community, government leaders, and interested parties.
